Editorial Policy

How we publish

Our editorial policy explains how PsychologicalsFact.com selects, creates, reviews, updates and corrects its educational relationship and psychology content.

Effective date: July 19, 2026

Our Editorial Purpose

We aim to make ideas about emotions, relationships, communication and personal growth understandable and useful. Content should support reflection and healthier choices without presenting speculation as established psychological fact.

Topic Selection

We select topics based on reader questions, search interest, gaps in existing coverage and relevance to the website’s core themes. A popular topic must still be suitable for a mature, respectful and educational treatment.

Research Standards

  • Prefer primary research, government health resources, universities and recognized professional organizations.
  • Distinguish research findings from opinion, examples and interpretation.
  • Avoid unsupported clinical, diagnostic or universal claims.
  • Include context, limitations and individual differences where they materially affect the conclusion.

Writing and Review

Articles are edited for clarity, originality, usefulness, structure and respectful language. Sensitive topics should emphasize consent, safety and appropriate professional support. We do not knowingly publish copied or lightly rewritten material.

Use of Artificial Intelligence

Technology, including AI-assisted tools, may support outlining, drafting, editing, metadata or visual creation. Material content is selected, reviewed and approved by the site administrator. AI output is not treated as an authority, source or substitute for human editorial responsibility.

Medical and Mental-Health Content

We do not present general articles as personal treatment or diagnosis. Higher-risk claims should be supported by credible sources and, when appropriate, reviewed by a suitably qualified professional. Any reviewer’s real name and relevant qualification should be displayed rather than implied.

Independence and Advertising

Advertisers and affiliate partners do not receive control over our conclusions. Sponsored content, affiliate relationships and other material commercial connections will be labeled clearly.

Updates

Articles may be reviewed when evidence changes, an error is reported or guidance becomes outdated. Publication and review dates should be displayed where technically available.

Reader Feedback

Readers may report factual errors, unclear passages or attribution concerns by email. Substantive corrections are handled under our Corrections Policy.
